The Hollow Country
by
Caroline Small

Imagine a
place
inside
the earth,
deep,
deep down
a hollow
country
where the
sound of water
echoes
through the caverns,
rattles
through the cracks,
clatters
through the chinks
Imagine
the people
who live
in this place,
deep deep
down,
in their
secret world
where the
water drips
and they
dance in the caverns,
and run
through the cracks
and
whistle through the chinks

one day, you could find them......... |
